ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 25 -- United States Patent no. 12,482,839, issued on Nov. 25, was assigned to TOYOTA JIDOSHA K.K. (Toyota, Japan).
"Fuel cell unit" was invented by Atsushi Hayashi (Susono, Japan).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The fuel cell unit comprises a fuel cell stack, a power converter configured to convert the power of the fuel cell stack, and a case configured to accommodate the fuel cell stack and the power converter in the same space. The power converter is configured to be disposed below the fuel cell stack."
The patent was filed on Oct. 13, 2022, under Application No. 17/965,033.
