According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Provided is a component of a suspension structure, which can achieve weight reduction while ensuring rigidity. As the component of the suspension structure for a vehicle, a lower arm includes a body made of metal. A reinforcing member that increases a rigidity of the body is securely attached along an edge of the body. The reinforcing member is made of a resin material or a rubber material."
