"Layered composite" was invented by Hiroki Yanaga (Tokyo), Hirofumi Tashiro (Kudamatsu, Japan), Hideki Yamagata (Tokyo), Keisuke Sone (Komatsu, Japan) and Masaki Kobayashi (Komatsu, Japan).
