ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,298,679, issued on May 13, was assigned to TOSHIBA TEC K.K. (Tokyo).
"Print head" was invented by Koji Tanimoto (Shizuoka, Japan).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A print head includes a transparent substrate on which a light emitting element is formed, a lens configured to condense light from the light emitting element that passes through the transparent substrate, and a holder including a first supporting surface that supports the transparent substrate and a second supporting surface that supports the lens. The holder is formed from a single, continuous piece of material by bending."
