ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 11 -- United States Patent no. 12,468,368, issued on Nov. 11, was assigned to TOSHIBA GLOBAL COMMERCE SOLUTIONS INC. (Durham, N.C.).

"Power control in a computing device" was invented by Hsuan Wei-Yi (Taipei, Taiwan), Yi-Hsin Huang (Taipei, Taiwan), Ying-Chi Chou (Chiayi, Taiwan) and Wen-Fu Tsai (New Taipei, Taiwan).
