ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 23 -- United States Patent no. 12,369,262, issued on July 22, was assigned to TMEIC Corp. (Chuo-ku, Japan).

"Dust-proof structure" was invented by Mitsuru Hano (Tokyo).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A dust-proof structure of an embodiment includes a housing and a magnetic member. The housing accommodates an electric device. The magnetic member is magnetized. The magnetic member is arranged in a flow path of a gas that flows through a ventilation port formed in the housing."

The patent was filed on Sept. 15, 2020, under Application No. 17/998,705.
