"Non-seamed sheeting fabric having a cool portion and a warm portion" was invented by Thomas Danaher (New York).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A non-seamed sheeting fabric, such as a bed sheet, including a cool portion and a warm portion that is integral with the cool portion. The warm portion is configured to provide greater thermal insulation than the cool portion."
