ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,311,116, issued on May 27, was assigned to Therabody Inc. (Los Angeles).

"Wearable devices for providing vibration therapy to a user" was invented by Trent K. English (Williamston, Mich.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Wearable devices can be used to provide therapy to users and/or to monitor various physiological parameters of the user. In some cases, therapy can be triggered automatically based on the monitored physiological parameters reaching or exceeding predefined thresholds."

The patent was filed on March 27, 2024, under Application No. 18/617,941.
