ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,297,472, issued on May 13, was assigned to THE TRUSTEES OF PRINCETON UNIVERSITY (Princeton, N.J.).
"Split inteins with exceptional splicing activity" was invented by Tom W. Muir (Princeton, N.J.), Adam J. Stevens (Princeton, N.J.) and Neel H. Shah (Berkeley, Calif.).
