US Patent Issued to THE SMART TIRE on Nov. 11 for "Reinforcement of polymers with shape memory alloy elements" (California, Ohio Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 11 -- United States Patent no. 12,466,217, issued on Nov. 11, was assigned to THE SMART TIRE COMPANY (Akron, Ohio).

"Reinforcement of polymers with shape memory alloy elements" was invented by Brian Yennie (Upland, Calif.), Earl Cole (Studio City, Calif.) and Jim Benzing (North Canton, Ohio).
