US Patent Issued to The Regents of the University of Michigan on Aug. 5 for "Organic light emitting diode having a mixed blocking layer" (New Jersey Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,382,777, issued on Aug. 5, was assigned to The Regents of the University of Michigan.

"Organic light emitting diode having a mixed blocking layer" was invented by Stephen Forrest (Ewing, N.J.), Caleb Coburn (Ewing, N.J.) and Jaesang Lee (Ewing, N.J.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention relates to mixed blocking layers and devices, such as organic light emitting diodes and other devices, including the same."
