ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,281,208, issued on April 22, was assigned to The Regents of the University of California (Oakland, Calif.).
"Bioactive plastics with programmable degradation and microplastic elimination" was invented by Ting Xu (Berkeley, Calif.), Christopher DelRe (Berkeley, Calif.) and Junpyo Kwon (Berkeley, Calif.).
