ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,247,184, issued on March 11, was assigned to The Procter & Gamble Co. (Cincinnati).
"Liquid detergent composition" was invented by William Coffin Shearouse (Cincinnati), Kevin Bernard Kluesener (Franklin, Ohio) and Samuel John Moskal (Cincinnati).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A detergent composition having a) from about 10% to about 60%, by weight of the composition, of a surfactant system wherein the surfactant system includes: i) at least 35%, by weight of the surfactant system, of nonionic surfactant and ii) from 5% to about 20%, by weight of the surfactant system, of amine oxide."
