ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,281,284, issued on April 22, was assigned to The Procter & Gamble Co. (Cincinnati).

"Particulate fabric care composition" was invented by Renae Dianna Fossum (Middletown, Ohio) and Lidiany Gonzalez (West Chester, Ohio).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A composition including a plurality of particles, wherein the particles include: about 25% to about 99% by weight a water soluble carrier; and about 1% to about 75% by weight a graft copolymer; wherein the graft copolymer includes: (a) a polyalkylene oxide which has a number average molecular weight of from about 1000 to about 20,000 Da and is based on ethylene oxide, propylene oxide, or butyle...
