US Patent Issued to The Penn State Research Foundation on Jan. 13 for "Extemporaneous route planning during live endoscopic surgical procedures" (Pennsylvania Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Jan. 13 -- United States Patent no. 12,521,190, issued on Jan. 13, was assigned to The Penn State Research Foundation (University Park, Pa.).

"Extemporaneous route planning during live endoscopic surgical procedures" was invented by William E. Higgins (State College, Pa.), Yuxuan He (State College, Pa.), Vahid Daneshpajooh (Swarthmore, Pa.) and Qi Chang (State College, Pa.).
