ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 26 -- United States Patent no. 12,258,980, issued on March 25, was assigned to The Oilgear Co. (Traverse City, Mich.).
"Subsea hydraulic pressure boosting and regulating system" was invented by Mitch Terhune (Williamsburg, Mich.), Jared Schlueter (Traverse City, Mich.) and Joshua B. Groves (Sisters, Ore.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A hydraulic boosting and regulating system includes an intensifier circuit and a regulator and employs low leak, low crossover valves."
The patent was filed on Aug. 1, 2022, under Application No. 17/878,605.
