ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 10 -- United States Patent no. 12,292,340, issued on May 6, was assigned to THE HONG KONG POLYTECHNIC UNIVERSITY (Hong Kong).
"Indoor fire monitoring based on look-up-from-floor sensing of ceiling" was invented by Qixin Wang (Hong Kong), Xinyan Huang (Hong Kong), Muhammad Shaheer (Hong Kong), Tamzid Mohammad (Hong Kong), Xiaoning Zhang (Hong Kong), Mingchun Luo (Hong Kong), Li-Ta Hsu (Hong Kong), Xiqiang Wu (Hong Kong), Fu Xiao (Hong Kong) and Asif Usmani (Hong Kong).
