ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,378,208, issued on Aug. 5, was assigned to The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (Hong Kong) and The Chinese University of Hong Kong (Hong Kong).

"N-substituted oseltamivir derivatives with antimicrobial activity" was invented by Cong Ma (Hong Kong), Xiao Yang (Hong Kong), Jiqing Ye (Hong Kong), Paul Kay-Sheung Chan (Hong Kong) and Wan Yi Chan (Hong Kong).
