US Patent Issued to The General Hospital on Nov. 18 for "Methods of supercooling aqueous samples" (Massachusetts Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 18 -- United States Patent no. 12,472,475, issued on Nov. 18, was assigned to The General Hospital Corp. (Boston).

"Methods of supercooling aqueous samples" was invented by Osman Berk Usta (Swampscott, Mass.), Haishui Huang (Allston, Mass.) and Martin Yarmush (Newton, Mass.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "This disclosure relates to methods of super-cooling of aqueous samples with or without biological samples.
