ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 20 -- United States Patent no. 12,391,748, issued on Aug. 19, was assigned to The Feinstein Institutes for Medical Research (Manhasset, N.Y.).
"Decoy antigens to maternal brain-reactive antibodies" was invented by Betty A. Diamond (Bronx, N.Y.), Simone Mader (Woodside, N.Y.), Lior Brimberg (Bayside, N.Y.) and Peter Gregersen (Larchmont, N.Y.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Methods of diagnosis and methods of treatment and prevention for autism spectrum disorder are provided using decoy antigens to maternal brain-reactive antibodies."
The patent was filed on June 21, 2022, under Application No. 17/845,021.
