ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 10 -- United States Patent no. 12,410,351, issued on Sept. 9, was assigned to THE CHEMOURS COMPANY FC LLC (Wilmington, Del.).

"Refrigerant compositions for refrigerant compressor systems" was invented by Stephen Spletzer (Lincoln University, Pa.) and Barbara Haviland Minor (The Villages, Fla.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Disclosed is a composition comprising difluoromethane (R-32), 2,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene (R-1234yf), and isobutane (R-600a). A refrigeration system, including a hermetic compressor and a refrigerant composition. The refrigerant composition includes difluoromethane (R-32), 2,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene (R-1234yf), and isobutane (R-600a)."
