ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 3 -- United States Patent no. 12,407,420, issued on Sept. 2, was assigned to The Boeing Co. (Chicago).
"Pulse noise modulation to encode data" was invented by Wayne R. Howe (Irvine, Calif.) and Jeffrey H. Hunt (Thousand Oaks, Calif.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A method, apparatus, and system for communicating data. Data is identified for transmission. Pulses of noise signals encoding the data are transmitted."
The patent was filed on Dec. 16, 2022, under Application No. 18/067,547.
