ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 9 -- United States Patent no. 12,350,892, issued on July 8, was assigned to THE BOEING COMPANY (Arlington, Va.).

"Co-cured UV/visible light-resistant fiberglass coated composite material for aircraft fuselage assembly" was invented by Alain A. Adjorlolo (Shoreline, Wash.), Patrice K. Ackerman (Kent, Wash.) and Jason A. Bolles (Kent, Wash.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Co-curable and co-cured UV/visible light-resistant fiberglass-coated UV/visible light composite structural material substrates, and aircraft fuselages comprising co-cured UV/visible light-resistant fiberglass-coated composite material substrates and methods of their manufacture are disclosed."
