ALEXANDRIA, Va., Jan. 20 -- United States Patent no. 12,528,588, issued on Jan. 20, was assigned to The Boeing Co. (Arlington, Va.).

"Variable chiller exhaust with crown ventilation" was invented by Eric A. Hill (Everett, Wash.), Brian C. Christenson (Arlington, Wash.) and John C. Pizzichemi (Bothell, Wash.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A variable chiller exhaust system incorporate a plurality of chillers, each driller having an inlet receiving air from a crown in an aircraft fuselage and an outlet connected to a manifold. A plurality of check valves are connected to the manifold and configured to maintain a differential back pressure on the plurality of chillers of 2" water pressure or less...
