ALEXANDRIA, Va., Jan. 20 -- United States Patent no. 12,531,044, issued on Jan. 20, was assigned to THE BOEING COMPANY (Arlington, Va.).

"Phased array ultrasonic testing device" was invented by Joseph Michael Shea Jr. (Slidell, La.), Alex McMullin (Athens, Ala.), Rosemarie Kathleen Sanders (Madison, Ala.), Gregory Allen Crum (Slidell, La.), Kevin Alan Maurigi Jr. (Bay St. Louis, Miss.) and Maurice Kyle Smith (Picayune, Miss.).
