ALEXANDRIA, Va., Jan. 13 -- United States Patent no. 12,522,342, issued on Jan. 13, was assigned to The Boeing Co. (Arlington, Va.).

"Fairing for wing-mounted engines" was invented by Sean P. Howe (Mount Pleasant, S.C.) and Zachary C. Hoisington (Seal Beach, Calif.).
