ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 9 -- United States Patent no. 12,286,222, issued on April 29, was assigned to The Boeing Co. (Arlington, Va.).
"Expandable strut assembly for a wing of an aircraft and method of using the same" was invented by Robert E. Grip (Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif.), Christopher K. Droney (Long Beach, Calif.), John C. Vassberg (Long Beach, Calif.), Dino L. Roman (Lake Forest, Calif.), John J. Brown (Costa Mesa, Calif.), Nathaniel J. Noel (North Charleston, S.C.) and Charles Daniel Peyton (Summerville, S.C.).
