ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 5 -- United States Patent no. 12,275,192, issued on April 15, was assigned to The Boeing Co. (Arlington, Va.).

"Additive manufacturing with adjusted cooling responsive to thermal characteristic of workpiece" was invented by Andrew H. Baker (St. Louis), James B. Castle (Rolla, Mo.), Eric Erwin Thomas (Saint Charles, Mo.) and Samuel Joseph Easley (Saint Peters, Mo.).
