ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 30 -- United States Patent no. 12,374,104, issued on July 29, was assigned to The Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois (Urbana, Ill.).
"Systems and methods for quantifying agroecosystem variables through multi-tier scaling from ground data, to mobile platforms, and to satellite observations" was invented by Sheng Wang (Urbana, Ill.), Kaiyu Guan (Urbana, Ill.), Bin Peng (Urbana, Ill.), Chongya Jiang (Urbana, Ill.) and Sibo Wang (Urbana, Ill.).
