"Re-writable DNA-based digital storage with random access" was invented by Olgica Milenkovic (Urbana, Ill.), S. M. Hossein Tabatabaei Yazdi (Urbana, Ill.), Yongbo Yuan (Urbana, Ill.), Jian Ma (Urbana, Ill.) and Huimin Zhao (Champaign, Ill.).
