ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,296,172, issued on May 13, was assigned to The Alfred E. Mann Foundation for Scientific Research (Valencia, Calif.).

"Electrode leads having nerve contact elements with coil contacts and associated systems and methods" was invented by Christopher Reed Jenney (Valencia, Calif.) and Timothy Strickland (La Crescenta, Calif.).
