According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A non-structural seat belt buckle cover is disclosed. The seat belt buckle cover may be used to protect seat belt buckles used on aircraft from damage. The seat belt buckle cover may comprise a top cover and a bottom cover that are coupled together to enclose a seat belt buckle. The seat belt buckle cover may comprise various openings to provide a user access to portions of the seat belt buckle."
