ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,312,064, issued on May 27, was assigned to Textron Innovations Inc. (Providence, R.I.).

"Shaped aircraft fuel cells, systems and methods for enhanced crashworthiness" was invented by Timothy Brian Carr (Fort Worth, Texas) and Joshua Robert O'Neil (Bedford, Texas).
