ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 5 -- United States Patent no. 12,275,804, issued on April 15, was assigned to Tetra Laval Holdings & Finance S.A. (Switzerland).
"Melt-processed material with high cellulose fiber content" was invented by Per Larsson (Stockholm) and Giada Lo Re (Stockholm).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention relates to a product comprising cellulose fibers wherein the cellulose fibers are at least partly modified to contain dialcohol cellulose and a melt-processing method of preparing the same."
The patent was filed on Nov. 10, 2022, under Application No. 17/984,438.
