ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 4 -- United States Patent no. 12,322,297, issued on June 3, was assigned to TESMAN RD S.R.L.S. (Rome).

"Orientation aid system for blind people" was invented by Alessandro Tessitore (Monreale, Italy).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention is part of the aid devices for blind people and in particular for the dedicated orientation systems. In particular, the present system is suitable both as a domestic aid as well as outdoors, advantageously leaving the user's hands free."

The patent was filed on June 5, 2020, under Application No. 17/613,984.
