ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,227,857, issued on Feb. 18, was assigned to Tesla Inc. (Austin, Texas).

"Metal sulfate manufacturing system via electrochemical dissolution" was invented by Shinji Arimoto (San Jose, Calif.), Mikel Dermer (Santa Clara, Calif.) and Zhiwen Sun (Sunnyvale, Calif.).
