ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,297,184, issued on May 13, was assigned to Tesaro Inc. (Wilmington, Del.).

"Niraparib salts" was invented by Alistair James Stewart (Waltham, Mass.), Yi Wang (Waltham, Mass.), George Wu (Waltham, Mass.) and Jianguo Yin (Waltham, Mass.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Novel salts of niraparib are provided. Also provided are pharmaceutical compositions comprising those salts, as well as methods and uses pertaining to the same."

The patent was filed on Oct. 3, 2019, under Application No. 17/282,344.
