ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 30 -- United States Patent no. 12,371,505, issued on July 29, was assigned to TeneoBio Inc. (Thousand Oaks, Calif.).
"Anti-BCMA heavy chain-only antibodies" was invented by Shelley Force Aldred (Hayward, Calif.), Nathan Trinklein (Redwood City, Calif.), Katherine E. Harris (Fremont, Calif.), Kevin Dang (Thousand Oaks, Calif.) and Wim van Schooten (Sunnyvale, Calif.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Anti-BCMA heavy chain-only antibodies(HCAb) and disclosed, along with methods of making such antibodies, compositions, including pharmaceutical compositions, comprising such antibodies, and their use to treat B-cell disorders characterized by the expression of BCMA."
