US Patent Issued to Tencent America on Sept. 30 for "Intra prediction mode derivation for coding blocks" (American, Taiwanese Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 30 -- United States Patent no. 12,432,346, issued on Sept. 30, was assigned to Tencent America LLC (Palo Alto, Calif.).

"Intra prediction mode derivation for coding blocks" was invented by Xin Zhao (San Jose, Calif.), Xiaozhong Xu (State College, Pa.), Lien-Fei Chen (Hsinchu, Taiwan), Roman Chernyak (Palo Alto, Calif.) and Shan Liu (San Jose, Calif.).
