ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,418,663, issued on Sept. 16, was assigned to TENCENT AMERICA LLC (Palo Alto, Calif.).

"Deblock filtering a chroma block coded in an intra block copy mode" was invented by Xiaozhong Xu (State College, Pa.) and Shan Liu (San Jose, Calif.).

The processing circuitry decodes prediction information for a chroma block.
