ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 30 -- United States Patent no. 12,427,511, issued on Sept. 30, was assigned to Temasek Polytechnic (Singapore) and AWAK Technologies Pte Ltd (Singapore).

"Sorbent for a dialysis device and dialysis system" was invented by Christian Gert Bluchel (Singapore) and Peter Haywood (Singapore).
