ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,361,677, issued on July 15, was assigned to Teledyne FLIR Defense Inc. (Thousand Oaks, Calif.).

"Object tracking in local and global maps systems and methods" was invented by A. Peter Keefe (Chelmsford, Mass.) and James Leonard Nute (Chelmsford, Mass.).
