ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 11 -- United States Patent no. 12,471,076, issued on Nov. 11, was assigned to Telcom Ventures LLC (Miami).

"Methods and devices to utilize unlicensed spectrum for direct to device communication for mobile satellite service to user equipment" was invented by Rajendra Singh (Indian Creek Village, Fla.).
