ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 23 -- United States Patent no. 12,366,547, issued on July 22, was assigned to TECNOSENS S.R.L. (Rome).
"Polymer matrix electrodes" was invented by Antonio Boccella (Rome) and Manlio Valentini (Rome).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Electrochemical probes (or sensors), resistant to corrosive agents present in seawaters or in industrial waters, useful for detecting compounds present in water, are here described, wherein said probes comprise at least one polymer matrix electrode, in which said electrode is selected from the group comprising counter electrode, reference electrode and working electrode."
The patent was filed on July 3, 2020, under Application No. 17/624,859.
