ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 5 -- United States Patent no. 12,217,884, issued on Feb. 4, was assigned to TECHNION RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT FOUNDATION Ltd. (Haifa, Israel).
"Protein-based films" was invented by Nadav Amdursky (Haifa, Israel) and Ramesh Nandi (Haifa, Israel).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Protein based highly stretchable compositions with ionic conductivity are disclosed herein. Methods for preparing such compositions are also disclosed."
