ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 11 -- United States Patent no. 12,470,010, issued on Nov. 11, was assigned to TE CONNECTIVITY SOLUTIONS GmbH et al. (Schaffhausen, Switzerland).
"Housing having different dielectric constants" was invented by Hyo Chang (Chris) Yun (Fremont, Calif.), Mohammad Nikfal (Bensheim, Germany) and Xiaoming Luo (Middletown, Pa.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A housing of a connector includes a first section and a second section connected to the first section and extending from the first section. The first section has a first dielectric constant. The second section has a second dielectric constant that is less than the first dielectric constant."
