"Training a gesture recognition model using transformed gesture data" was invented by Remi Louis Clement Poncot (Grenoble, France), Juan S Mejia Santamaria (San Jose, Calif.), Abbas Ataya (Menlo Park, Calif.), Etienne De Foras (Saint Nazaire les Eymes, France) and Bruno Flament (Saint Julien de Ratz, France).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "In a method for training a gesture recognition model, gesture data is collected from an inertial measurement unit (IMU) positioned on one side of a user, wherein the IMU is capable of collecting data when positioned on either side of the user...
