US Patent Issued to TDK on May 27 for "Alloy ribbon and laminated core" (Japanese Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,312,667, issued on May 27, was assigned to TDK Corp. (Tokyo).

"Alloy ribbon and laminated core" was invented by Isao Nakahata (Tokyo) and Takuya Tsukahara (Tokyo).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An alloy ribbon that is an alloy ribbon containing a metal as a main component, and has a recess on at least one principal surface, in which a depth of the recess is 5% or more and 75% or less of an average thickness."
