ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 4 -- United States Patent no. 12,322,866, issued on June 3, was assigned to TDK Corp. (Tokyo).
"Antenna module" was invented by Yasuyuki Hara (Tokyo) and Tomoyuki Goi (Tokyo).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Disclosed herein is an antenna module that includes an antenna component including a plurality of antenna elements and a ground conductor surrounding each of the plurality of antenna elements; and a metal member disposed adjacent to the ground conductors surrounding outermost ones of the plurality of antenna elements."
The patent was filed on March 14, 2022, under Application No. 17/693,721.
