ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 30 -- United States Patent no. 12,371,764, issued on July 29, was assigned to TDK Corp. (Tokyo).
"Sm-Fe-N rare earth magnet, production method therefor, and rare earth magnet powder" was invented by Hirotaka Yokota (Tokyo).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Provided is an Sm-Fe-N rare earth magnet comprising Sm-Fe-N crystal grains. An oxygen content in the Sm-Fe-N rare earth magnet is 0.5% by mass or less on the basis of a total amount of the Sm-Fe-N rare earth magnet, and an average grain size of the Sm-Fe-N crystal grains is 1 micro metre or less."
The patent was filed on Oct. 29, 2020, under Application No. 17/640,096.
